Tesla's EV share falls to 58% in the U.S. as growth cools and Model X and Model S turn red

The automaker's January to August EV share fell to 58% from 65.1% a year earlier, Experian data shows. Tesla blamed factory downtime for global third-quarter sales that came in lower than the preceding quarter.
